Engineering Career Studies Certificate

The Career Studies Certificate program in Engineering is only available to students taking Dual Enrollment classes through the Virginia Western Regional Academy.

Purpose: This curriculum is designed for persons who want to explore engineering as a potential major.

Program Objectives: This program allows students to experience the exciting opportunities in engineering and prepare themselves for an associate of science degree in engineering, which is transferable to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to credit-level coursework established by the college. This program is restricted to students eligible to enroll in MTH 167*  and college-level English.
