Prerequisite(s): A placement recommendation for ENG 111 , co-enrollment in EDE 11* /ENG 111 , or successful completion of all developmental English requirements.
Course Type: Not Intended for Transfer
Description: Provides an understanding of medical abbreviations and terms. Includes the study of prefixes, suffixes, word stems and technical terms with emphasis on proper spelling, pronunciation and usage. Lecture 3 hours per week.
