Career Studies Certificate

Purpose: This curriculum is designed to teach students the skills needed to design, build, and maintain small to medium-size networks.
Program Objectives: This program provides students with the opportunity to master the material necessary to earn the CiscoTM Certified Network Associate (CCNATM) certification, enter the workforce, and/or further their education and training in the computer networking field. Employment opportunities include telecommunications technician, LAN/WAN technician/cable installer, technical representative/salesperson.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to credit-level coursework established by the college.
Program Notes: Students must possess computer literacy in order to be successful in this program.
