Purpose: This curriculum is designed to meet the short-term training needs of the adult part-time student by presenting the essential technical concepts and practices of the Commercial HVAC field.
Program Objectives: Employment opportunities include commercial HVAC system installer, HVAC technician, commercial HVAC technical service advisor, and commercial HVAC sales.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to credit level coursework established by the college as well as being a Graduate of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Career Studies Certificate or demonstration of HVAC experience to the level of our graduates. Students are expected to have their Universal EPA certification as well.
Developmental Requirements: MTE 1 , MTE 2 and MTE 3
Program Notes: Completion of this degree will prepare the student to take the journeyman’s exam as well as prepare them to go to work in the commercial HVAC field.
