Purpose: This career studies certificate is designed to prepare students to perform a range of customer services to assist the public in a variety of businesses. This career studies certificate could also be beneficial for students in many other programs of study provided by the college.
Program Objectives: Employers continue to expect an essential skill set for entry-level customer support candidates. Potential entry-level job positions include customer support personnel in phone support, live chat support, email support, social media, and in person/on-site support.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to credit-level coursework established by the college.
Developmental Requirements: Students who do not place into college-level English will be required to take developmental courses.
It is strongly recommended that developmental education requirements be completed as soon as possible.
