Prerequisite(s): BIO 141* , ENG 111 , PSY 230* , and SDV 101 .  Acceptance to the AAS Occupational Therapy Program; Evidence of completion of AAS Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required documents

Course Type: Not Intended for Transfer  

Description: Focuses on the study of human movement and its impact on function by examining the relationship between systems of osteology, arthrology, myology, neurology, arthrokinematics, and biomechanics and their role in facilitating or inhibiting movement. Provides an opportunity to analyze occupational performance based on the knowledge of human body systems. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
