Description: Introduces analytical design of bearings, clutches, coupling, brakes, springs, gearing systems, and power shafting. Emphasizes methods of construction, machine parts and specifications of materials, and manufacturing processes. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
