Description: Introduces the basic principles governing the statics and dynamics of fluids, especially incompressible fluids. Examines hydrostatic pressure; continuity, Bernoulli, and momentum equations; viscosity flow problems; measuring instruments; and applications to closed conduits and open channels. Lecture 3 hours per week.
