Prerequisite(s): BIO 141* , BIO 142* , SDV 101 ; CPR American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers; Acceptance to the Dental Hygiene, A.A.S. Program; Evidence of completion of Dental Hygiene, A.A.S.  Program required documents.

Course Type: Not Intended for Transfer  

Description: Introduces clinical knowledge and skills for the performance of dental hygiene services; basic skill components, lab manikins, and client practice. Lecture 3 hours. Clinic 6 hours. Total 9 hours per week.
