Prerequisite(s): BIO 141*   (or BIO 231 or NAS 161); ENG 111* ; PSY 230* ; SDV 101 ; CPR - BLS for Healthcare Professional Corequisite(s): BIO 142*  (or NAS 162 or BIO 232); NSG 100* , NSG 106*  and NSG 200*  

Course Type: Intended for Career Preparation  

Description:  Introduces the role of the professional nurse and fundamental concepts in professional development. Focuses on professional identity, legal/ethical issues and contemporary trends in professional nursing.  Lecture 1 hour. Total 1 hour per week.
