Prerequisite(s): MTH 131 or MTH 161 or MTH 167; and, a placement recommendation for ENG 111,co-enrollment in ENF 3/ENG 111, or successful completion of all required developmental English courses.

Description: A non-calculus introductory college physics sequence. Includes fundamental principles of physics. Covers mechanics, thermodynamics, wave phenomena, electricity, magnetism, and selected topics in modern physics. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
