This Career Studies Certificate program is only available to students taking Dual Enrollment classes.
Purpose: This curriculum is designed to give students the knowledge and skills to meet industry needs for hardware repair, and desktop software support.
Program Objectives: to provide employment opportunities for Help Desk related jobs. Such jobs involve helping the customer or end user with information and support related to troubleshooting and providing guidance about computer related topics including security, operating systems, basic repair, software installation, word processing, spreadsheets, and database packages.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to credit-level coursework established by the college.
